Scientific committee

An external scientific committee was appointed to assess and advise TRAILS members on research activities.

TRAILS scientific committee has currently three members:

 

 

Dr Geneviève Michon, Research Director at the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD – French National Research Institute for Development)) based in Montpellier, France. Geneviève Michon is an expert in ethnobotany and agroforestry, with many years of field experience in Indonesia. 


 

 

Dr Glen Reynolds, Director of the Southeast Asia Rainforest Research Partnership (SEARRP), located in Sabah, Malaysia. Glen Reynolds is an expert in forest ecology. 


  

Dr Delphine Clara Zemp, Assistant Professor and Director of the Conservation Biology Laboratory at the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Her research (conducted in particular in Sumatra, Indonesia) focuses on the interactions between biodiversity, climate and land use in forest landscapes.
